    Hi Sandra,

Can you share where exactly Troppa Pioggia was painted? I own a copy of this painting and will be in Italy in a few weeks. I’ve visited this place in so many moments through your painting over the past several years and I’d love to visit it for real if I could.

Thank you so much for the beauty you choreographed within this painting! Every time I look at it, my day gets a little brighter!

Hi Wes, thanks for the note (sorry I am late responding, things have been hectic this summer…) The painting is an amalgam of a few things real and a few things imagined. However, that house–palazzo really– is right on the outskirts (coming from Matera) of Bernalda, on the last curve into town. The trees and waterlogged areas are my addition to the scene, hoping I suppose for more rain here! Have a great trip here in Italy!

I chanced upon one of your images – an gigantic explosion of a tree and an lacey enigmatic gate- I was enthralled! Saw your site and more images and was further engaged. What wonderful, worthy and delicious work! Thanks for putting it out there. You inspire!

    Ms. Langston,

Your paintings , Still Life and Fruit and Pandora’s Box, still bring me much joy.

    Thank you,

Thank you, Brian! It is always nice to hear from people who have bought work. I always wonder if they check back to see my new things. Hope you are well!

    Ms. Langston,
Do you still do business with Ron or Taylor Lyon in New Orleans?

    Please contact me. Thank you.
